The lab was established by pharmacist Andrew Leslie. The Essendon Compounding Lab is a project produced by Blooms the Chemist and draws on 45+ years of pharmaceutical expertise. It is fitted with state-of-the-art facilities and the latest compounding technology, giving the lab the capability to handle even the most complex formulation requests.
Through partnerships with PCCA, Medisca, and the Australian Society of Compounding Pharmacists, the lab offers prescribers access to one of the widest ranges of current topical and oral formulas available. Every preparation is backed by expertise and precision, ensuring clients can prescribe with confidence. The formulations are aligned with published dermatology literature, stability-tested, and fully compliant with Australian compounding regulations, with a risk assessment in place for every patient.
